Free Biological Age Calculator

This free biological age calculator is based on a pioneering paper by longevity experts Dr. Morgan Levine and Dr. Steve Horvath.

The paper, titled “An epigenetic biomarker of aging for lifespan and healthspan,” used some super-advanced machine learning techniques to find blood biomarkers which are significantly correlated with aging-related health outcomes, including mortality.

Essentially, they are able to use the results from this test to predict how near (or far away) you are from death.

Happily, their equations are open to the public, so we used them to build this handy biological age calculator so you can benefit from their research!

What you need for this biological age test

All you need are:

  • The results from the basic blood test you get at your annual doctor’s visit (called a “CBC with differential”)
  • Plus the results from a high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) test

You will often be able to ask your doctor to prescribe an hs-CRP test and even get it covered by insurance but, if not, it’s super easy and cheap to order one from any of the dozens of online blood test companies and get your blood drawn at a nearby Quest or LabCorp location.

For instance, the hs-CRP test provided by Life Extension is only $42.

They also offer a CBC with differential test for only $35.

And My Aging Tests (co-founded by Dr. Steve Horvath) offers both tests for a combined $75.

This biological age calculator is exactly the reason we recommend getting both these tests in our article on the top aging biomarkers to track for longevity.
